Oxford Fiber Festival

The mission of this event is to inspire, preserve, and develop the fiber arts in Mississippi and the South. Each year, the festival welcomes a variety of makers, menders, and creatives to an in-person market hosted at The Powerhouse

Oxford Film Festival

The Oxford Film Festival celebrates film, the range of stories that can be shared through film, and the diversity of audience members and creators that love films.

Thacker Mountain Radio

A weekly live broadcast on Thursdays, featuring readings by notable writers and music by local artists.

Oxford Conference for the Book

A gathering for book lovers at the University of Mississippi, featuring talks and panels with distinguished authors, editors, and publishers, focusing on the literary arts and publishing industry.

Holly Jolly Holidays

Visitors and residents alike can experience the best of Oxford’s holiday charm and get a taste of a seasonal favorite. Highlights of this annual event include Lighting of the Square, an ice-skating rink and visits with Santa.

MTrade Park Oxford MS

Tournaments at mTrade Park

mTrade Park is one of the premier soccer, baseball, and softball facilities in Mississippi. It features over 75 acres of state-of-the-art fields to handle city, county, and tournament participants and attracts thousands of visitors to Lafayette County each year.
